Individual and Relational Therapy
Our mental health is not separate from the world around us. Societal norms that promote white supremacy, homo & transphobia, fat phobia, ableism, whore phobia and other systems of oppression are damaging to our health, thrivability, & our relationships.
I support folks with marginalized identities and experiences who need a therapist who can facilitate care in exploring and healing from the impacts of those intersections. My approach is systemic, directive, relational, attachment based, anti-oppressive, queer, Trans & BIPOC affirmative.
I work with a range of clients both individually and as part of relational systems, such as families, partners, couples, polycules, roommates, friends and so on.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist,
all of my training is through the lens of relational work.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are the only therapists who are required to continue education in relational work. We have specific training through our licensure in sex therapy, couples, family, and systemic therapies.
MFTs are clinicians with extensive experience and training in navigating the complicated dynamics of relationships, which can be helpful whether we work individually or relationally.
I am directive, offer specific interventions and supports to overtly change what is not working for you.
Clients that work with me consistently share noticing the difference in my approach and the quickness they experience change.
